Drop-in machine hire

Thread Den is equipped with reliable, smooth-running Janome sewing machines and overlockers for in-store hire, as well as large cutting tables. Hourly sewing machine hire includes any staff assistance you may need with the operation of machines. No booking is necessary.

At Thread Den we endeavor to ensure that you will be comfortable at work in our light-filled sewing lounge with heating and cooling and complimentary tea and coffee. So come in and make yourself at home.

1 x Janome Industrial Sewing Machine (straight stitcher)

1 x Yamato Industrial Overlocker

2 x cutting tables, each 1200x1500mm

Elna Opal Press

Tefal Semi-industrial Steam Iron

Dessmaker's Mannequins: Sizes 6-12 & 14-18

Sewing Lounge Rates:
$9 per hour
$45 for a 6 hour bulk buy card.

Group bookings at Thread Den

Why not book the whole sewing lounge and studio space for your group? Get those dance costumes made, have a working bee, a sewing party or anything else you can think of! Choose from one of our existing classes, let us tailor a session to your needs, or lead your own session - you decide. Thread Den will happily set the space up as required and provide a supervisor if required. And of course, use of all sewing equipment including overlockers, cutting tables and sewing kits is complimentary.
