Description
Zip up your favourite things in a case designed by you. Learn to insert a zip to create a case that will not only safely carry your bits and bobs, but look good while doing it. Select from a range of trims, buttons and fabrics to personalise your case in your own style while picking up some handy machine decorating tips.
Please note: Sewing machine skills required (ie. Sewing Basics 1 completed or equivalent skill level).
Please bring along:
A couple of small measures of a non stretch fabric (Maybe Nan or Mum have some 30cm to 50cm pieces hanging around or check the remnants bin at your local fabric shop for ideas). You will also need a zipper, grab one that's between 20 to 35cm, have a think about it first, how long do you want your personalised case to be? Also bring any groovy buttons or trims you think might look cool. You could even plan your design out on a piece of paper first!! Be creative and we'll have a great afternoon.
