Just the treat for a bride-to-be and her gal pals - a pre-wedding stitch 'n' bitch! Choose from Thread Den's suggested fabulous hen's packages (below), or let us quote you on a customised project. Enjoy some quality girlfriend time in a fun, relaxed setting where you can make a handmade memento of the day.
Classes range from 2-3 hours and they're hosted by our very lovely, and highly skilled teachers. We can provide all the materials or you can bring your own. If you'd like to bring nibbles, bubbles and tunes, we'll provide champagne flutes, cake stands and sound system to help you get the party started.

Suzie Home Maker
Machine sewn aprons with hand sewn embellishments
Using our vintage style apron pattern and adorable cotton fabrics, stitch and sew this delightful little Suzie Home Maker number to look cute in the kitchen. For faster sewers we can also put on pockets, trims and details.
Thread Den can provide all of the materials for a fuss-free evening or you can bring your own if you've got a specific fabric in mind.
Duration: 3 hours

Sweet Dreams
Machine sewn sleep masks
You'll be the belle of the bedroom with one of these gorgeous sleep masks over your peepers. This cute little customised sleep mask will help lull you off to the land of nod for some essential beauty sleep.
Thread Den will provide a variety of fabrics to choose from to make your sleep mask. If you want something a little fancy, why not bring along some bows, lace or jewels to add to it?

Don't dry this at home!
Screen printed & hand sewn tea towels
Taking a simple little tea towel we'll screen print them with our very cute designs.
Then you can add further embellishments to your tea towels with embroidery, applique and decorative finishes.

Afternoon Soirees
Knitting, Crochet & Hand Embroidery
Sit around with a glass of wine handy, cheese and bickies within reach, maybe some chocolate dipped strawberries... and your closest friends! Learn crafty skills that the women that came before us took for granted. Because you can all sit together these are intimate classes perfect for a catch up with friends you haven't seen in ages.

Pin Up Girls
Hair and makeup workshops
Choose your favourite era and learn how to create your personal glamorous look with one of our hair and makeup artists.
Watch how it's done on some lovely hens then use your own makeup to create a unique vintage look. We'll grab some social shots and you'll strike a pose for a photo shoot before heading out on the town for a great night out!
Duration: 3 hours
Cost: from $49 per head depending on class size and requirements.
Please bring along: your own make up and fake lashes if you would like to use them.
Crafternoons with your Besties
Our sewing lounge is the perfect space for you and your best pals to get together for a good ol’ chitchat and glass of wine while learning a new skill. We've got lots of clever ideas up our home-sewn sleeves, so feel free to contact us for more personalised class ideas.
Choose from one of our existing classes or ask us to help you plan your own custom class. The minimum booking size is four people.
